Tomarket, a prominent Telegram crypto game, has successfully launched its TOMA token on The Open Network (TON) as planned. It is now almost time for players to receive rewards in the tomato-themed game.
According to the latest updates, Tomarket has taken a snapshot of player progress at the time of the token launch and will disclose allocations to eligible players 24 hours later, on Friday, November 1 at 12pm ET.
Not all of the 40 million-plus players will receive a portion of the bounty. Here is an overview of who will receive TOMA tokens on Tomarket, how to claim the tokens, and what to expect in the future.
Eligibility for the airdrop:
Players on Tomarket must complete various tasks to earn a share of the TOMA airdrop, some of which have been gradually revealed over the past day. The specific deadline for completing these tasks is unclear at this time, but as of now, the set tasks include:
– Adding a tomato emoji to your Telegram display name
– Reaching the Bronze (L4) level in Tomarket
– Connecting a TON wallet
– Purchasing the premium medal (optional)
– Joining the Tomarket Announcement community channel
Tomarket may add another step to this list, but that is currently all that has been disclosed. Note that purchasing the airdrop-boosting premium medal, which costs around $5 worth of TON or Telegram Stars, is optional and not mandatory for claiming tokens.
Tomarket plans to distribute 80% of the total token allocation during the airdrop, though the exact number of tokens generated remains unknown. Decrypt has reached out to Tomarket for further information on this matter.
Claiming the tokens:
Eligible players can claim the tokens within the Tomarket mini app on Telegram and decide whether to withdraw them to a wallet. While the premium medal is optional for the airdrop, it appears that only buyers of the medal will have their full TOMA allocation unlocked at launch.
After the airdrop:
Following the airdrop, Tomarket has hinted at plans for further development, although the specifics are not yet clear. Tomarket intends to introduce a Farming Pool feature, similar to other Telegram games like Notcoin and X Empire, to provide exposure to upcoming games and projects while offering special benefits to players.
The Farming Pool will allow TOMA token holders to participate in exclusive projects, maximize earnings, earn tokens from referrals, and enjoy hassle-free earning opportunities. Referring new users will earn players a 10% share of the tokens generated by their referrals.
Tomarket has also suggested that the premium medal will enhance an upcoming feature, although it is currently uncertain whether this is related to the Farming Pool or another new feature or service on the horizon.
