### Biggest news
**Off the Grid’s major updates:** After its early access launch in October, the Avalanche-based battle royale shooter Off the Grid has received a significant update. The update includes improvements to the aiming system, performance enhancements, and adjustments to weapon performance in preparation for an upcoming ranked mode. Additionally, Gunzilla Games announced the launch of GUNZ Foundation under Delphi Ventures’ guidance.
**TapSwap and Tomarket:** The developers of TapSwap, a tap-to-earn Telegram game, announced the long-awaited TAPS token launch and airdrop on The Open Network (TON) in late January. Tomarket, another Telegram game, made a last-minute switch to the Aptos blockchain ahead of its planned launch, setting the stage for the TOMA token launch on December 20.
**Ubisoft launch and mint:** Gaming giant Ubisoft confirmed that its upcoming game Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. will launch on December 18 via Ethereum’s layer-2 network Arbitrum. To celebrate, Ubisoft released a free NFT mint linked to the game, offering 10,000 NIJI Warrior ID Cards.

– Neon Machine, the creator of Shrapnel, appointed a new CEO and revealed ongoing fundraising.
– Zoppel, a mobile shoot ’em up game, launched in alpha on Ethereum’s Skale network.
– Treasure, a crypto gaming ecosystem, transitioned to its own Ethereum layer-2 chain.
– Notcoin developers introduced a new rewards sharing platform.
– OverTrip, a battle royale shooter, debuted on the Epic Games Store.
– Ethereum Name Service partnered with Ubisoft to provide ENS subdomains for NIJI Warrior ID Card holders.
