According to The Block, Web3 AI platform ChainML has announced the completion of a $6.2 million seed round extension funding. The round was led by Hack VC, with participation from Inception Capital, HTX Ventures, Figment Capital, Hypersphere Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. The funding structure includes tokenized equity and was raised at the end of last year, with the valuation undisclosed.
ChainML has also announced the launch of its proxy layer called Theoriq, which is a framework for autonomous AI agents capable of performing complex tasks. Theoriq utilizes blockchain technology for agent registration, payment, and security. ChainML is collaborating with “mature web3 projects” to introduce AI agents to its community. The company plans to launch the testnet for Theoriq this summer and the mainnet later this year.
