Xapo Bank Employs Lightning Network to Facilitate Bitcoin Deposits

Xapo Bank, regulated by the Gibraltar authority, has become the first fully licensed bank to offer instant Bitcoin deposits worldwide through the Lightning Network. This move adds to its existing Bitcoin deposit options and charges minimal fees. Xapo Bank CEO Seamus Rocca sees the Lightning Network as a primary channel for Bitcoin transactions. Additionally, Xapo has partnered with Lightning Network infrastructure company Lightspark to launch predefined micro-payments, further driving global adoption of Bitcoin.
