In a recent news report by The Block, cryptocurrency derivatives trader Gordon Grant stated that the appeal of spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to institutional investors would decrease before the staking feature becomes available. Many may wait for staking approval before allocating to such funds. In the meantime, institutional traders will switch to on-chain solutions.
