Rivalry, a cryptocurrency casino and platform for sports and esports betting, has added the recently launched TRUMPSolanameme coin as a payment option. This move occurred on Saturday, shortly after the coin’s release, and ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States on Monday.
The official Trump meme coin was launched on Solana late Friday and quickly gained popularity, reaching a market capitalization of $15 billion. It is currently the third-largest meme coin, with a market cap of under $8 billion, according to CoinGecko. The coin was listed on various centralized exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase, and OKX.
Now, users of the Rivalry betting site can deposit and bet with their TRUMP tokens, as well as use them for payments on the platform. Rivalry claims to be the first betting operator to accept the official TRUMP token.
“Meme coins are attention-monetized, and the release of TRUMP just days before an inauguration is a quintessential internet and crypto culture-driven moment,” said Steven Salz, co-founder and CEO of Rivalry, in a statement.
Those who choose to bet with TRUMP on Rivalry will receive exclusive rewards until February 1. This includes a 20x multiplier on the amount of NUTZ, Rivalry’s points that will be converted into the upcoming RVLRY crypto token, earned for each bet placed.
Rivalry also allows users to deposit and bet with other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and more.
