According to a report from Cryptoslate, Yves Bennaïm, the founder and chairman of the Swiss Bitcoin advocacy nonprofit think tank 2B4CH, has launched a national referendum in Switzerland, urging the Swiss National Bank (SNB) to include Bitcoin in the country’s asset reserves. The initiation of this referendum depends on obtaining 100,000 valid signatures from Swiss citizens. If the required number is reached, the Swiss population will vote on the proposed amendment.
