Japan’s investment company Metaplanet announced on Monday that it has once again purchased 20,195 BTC. This acquisition brings Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings to 161.2677 BTC, equivalent to over $10.1 million at the current price.
It is reported that the total purchase price of these Bitcoins was 1.65 billion yen ($10.2 million), with an average purchase price of $63,427 per Bitcoin.
According to data from Bitcointreasuries.net, Metaplanet had previously purchased Bitcoin on April 23, May 10, and June 11. Its strategy is similar to that of the American business intelligence company MicroStrategy.
