BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange co-founder and current Chief Investment Officer of his private wealth office Maelstrom, Arthur Hayes, has announced the launch of his first NFT series called Airheads, which utilizes the Bitcoin Ordinals protocol. He also disclosed his investment in the Oyl wallet. Oyl is a Bitcoin aggregator that allows users to purchase BRC-20, Ordinals, and Runes on top-tier markets.
According to Hayes’ blog post, “Each Airhead is an inflatable balloon-like character generated through recursive art, visually representing the scale and value of your digital investment portfolio at the time of minting. There are a total of 10,000 characters, differentiated by sequential rankings and hierarchical levels to reflect asset weights on the leaderboard, making it an interesting and competitive way to showcase wealth.”
