Securitize CEO Calls for Clearer Regulation of Digital Assets in US House Hearing

Carlos Domingo is calling for clearer regulations on digital assets and an expansion of privileges for Special Purpose Broker-Dealer (SPBD) to prevent the United States from falling behind Europe. He stated that lawmakers must provide clearer definitions for digital assets and tokenized securities to distinguish them from other digital assets. Domingo said, “This lack of clarity hinders regulatory agencies from truly understanding the unique characteristics of compliant tokenized securities and regulating them accordingly.”
