Carlos Domingo is calling for more clear regulations on digital assets and an expansion of privileges for Special Purpose Broker-Dealer (SPBD) in handling digital assets to prevent the US from falling behind Europe. He stated that legislators must provide clearer definitions for digital assets and tokenized securities to distinguish them from other digital assets. He said, “This lack of clarity hinders regulatory agencies from truly understanding the unique characteristics of compliant tokenized securities and regulating them accordingly.”
