They also referenced a report from the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network of the Treasury Department for the years 2020-2021, which stated, “Offenders of Online Child Sexual Exploitation (OCSE) are increasingly using convertible virtual currency (CVC) to attempt to evade detection.”
