Ethereum Futures ETF Trading Volume Hits Record High

As expectations for the approval of a spot Ethereum ETF by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) increase, the daily trading volume of Ethereum futures exchange-traded funds (ETFs) reached a historic high on Tuesday. The trading volume of Ethereum futures ETFs reached $47.75 million on Tuesday, a 40% increase from the previous peak of $34.18 million set on March 5 when Ether approached $4,000. This growth continued from Monday’s increase of $23.67 million. Among this category, ProShares’ Ethereum Strategy ETF (EETH) held the dominant position, accounting for 90% of Tuesday’s trading volume at $43.14 million. VanEck’s Ethereum Strategy ETF (EFUT) and Bitwise’s Ethereum Strategy ETF (AETH) ranked second and third with trading volumes of $2.6 million and $2.01 million, respectively.
