According to two sources, the SEC has requested potential spot Ethereum ETF issuers to submit the first round of S-1 form drafts before Friday. After that, the SEC will provide initial feedback and make further revisions. It may take a few weeks for the S-1 form to become effective and begin trading.
As previously reported, on the day the Ethereum ETF 19b-4 filing was approved, VanEck immediately submitted a revised version of its S-1 form. BlackRock followed suit on May 30, outlining in detail that its ETF would have a seed capital of $10 million.
