In a revised S-1 form submitted on Friday evening, the previously named Ark 21Shares Ethereum ETF has been changed to 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF. ARK Invest will no longer be a partner in this ETF.
A spokesperson for 21Shares added that 21Shares and ARK will continue to collaborate on the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, which is set to launch in January, as well as other existing futures products.
An ARK spokesperson stated in a statement that the company “will not be pursuing an Ethereum ETF” but remains committed to the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF.
