Coinbase has officially launched its new “smart wallet” in hopes of improving customer user experience. The design of this new smart wallet by Coinbase aims to make the user experience simpler. The company stated that new users can now create a wallet using “Face ID, Google Chrome profile, fingerprint, or Yubikey, without the need for a recovery phrase.”
Coinbase’s wallet supports 8 networks, including Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB, and Zora. The company plans to add more networks in the future.
In a statement, the company said: “These next-generation wallets address the biggest pain points of today’s crypto experience – complex registration, network fees, and recovery phrases – making the transition to on-chain smoother than ever before.”
