Compared to Ethereum validators, Solana validators received higher overall income from MEV, according to Blockworks Research. Last week, Solana validators earned nearly $7 million from MEV, with over 60% of non-voting operations on Solana failing. This was mainly due to bots exploiting Solana’s low fees to congest the network in hopes of expediting transaction operations.
Jito, the main branch for Solana validators, provides Jito-Solana. According to Jito’s website, 78% of Solana validators use this client.
