Lido, in its community announcement, has proposed the “Lido Alliance: Ethereum Consortium Ecosystem”, a framework within the Lido DAO that provides support and endorsement for the protocol, and drives the implementation of decentralized Ethereum validation. The main principles of this alliance revolve around maintaining the decentralization of Ethereum, integrating with Lido middleware solutions, ensuring user safety, and guaranteeing permissionless access and censorship resistance. The alliance will focus on building around stETH and propose the creation of a dedicated Lido Contributor Alliance Working Group.
